A Solitary Disciple
My photographs come from a desire to hold onto strange, fantastic, quiet moments. Whether photographing family or strangers on the street, I am drawn to moments of solitude, often combined with an interesting framework – the geometry of city buildings, a simple doorway, or a tree branch. The ordinary can become mysterious when seen with a certain kind of attention. I think my own photographs tell quiet stories of loneliness and reflection.
